In other updates from my time off.... not that things were not crazy enough with the pregnancy stuff but we have been halfway looking for a house to buy with the thought that if we found one that seems perfect we will go for it otherwise we are just looking... well earlier last week we found one that just seemed wonderful so we put an offer in on it, did some negotiating back and forth, etc. etc. in the end we get the sellers to agree to everything we want. So we go back to the house to look at it from a different point of view, from the point of view of actually buying rather than just looking and the house had issues, there were some foundation issues, the roof needed repair and the basement was leaking due to the foundation trouble, the basement in this house is very important to us because the house is only a two bedroom and with two kids we really need a three bedroom so we intended to finish the basement. In the end we decided that this is probably not the right house for us and got out of the offer.
Also, last week Davis quit his job. Basically one of the reasons we moved here was because Davis could make more money here than in Phx. the only real money in tile though is in working for himself but when we moved here we decided that it would be best for our family for him to go to work for someone else just so that until we got connected here and a little extra money built up we would not struggle as much. Well a great opportunity came up and we got a nice little build up so we decided this was as good a time as any and Davis quit working for someone else and is now trying to start his own company. basically though, he technically has no job!
so in short for this week:
we had a little baby scare,
we almost bought a house,
and my husband has no job..
just trying to keep it interesting!
