progress?

it seems as if all I ever post about is the house...I guess right now it is the one thing that is most "in our faces". it just seems like it never ends. we are beginning to have trouble with the city because not only is our house under renovation but our street is under construction as well we are the last house on the street and they are putting in a cul-de-sac which will be very nice. the trouble right now is that they are making the slope of the driveway so steep it will be un-drivable in the winter. we will see what happens?

we are probably going to paint this weekend, i am very excited to see the colors go up. the bathrooms are still down to the studs but they are coming along. we got all of the tile picked up except for the master bath. the cabinets are coming in on the 26Th but will not be installed for probably another week after that. it's strange how long it took to demo compared to how long it's taking to put it back together. i always thought demo was short and putting things together would take longer. in fact, it is opposite. we spent months doing demo but during that process i was planning and picking out everything so now that it's coming together all of the hard decisions are already made. it is very exciting! i think that all of the stress will be worth it because we will have the house we want.

the kids are both doing well. faith is working on sorting through her things for the move and justice learned last week how to wave bye-bye.they are amazing little creatures
