after almost exactly a year I feel the need to update on recent happenings. This should be everything but maybe I will add more details as stories come out along the way.
On August 23, 2007 Justice made his debut though not happily and not willingly ( more on that one later). He has changed all of our lives forever!
We spent a few weeks of December in Phoenix, celebrating the holidays with my family for the first time in a few years. Davis finally got to experience the craziness of a Perkins family holiday, though I have to admit that they are not as crazy as I remember them being. Though I'm not sure if that is perception or reality?
In January Faith officially became a McAdoo! Yay, YAy, YAY!
In March I was able to switch from working the Night Audit Shift (11p-7a) to working the evening shift which is 3p-11p and is a much better fit for our family. Sometimes I can go a few days with only seeing Davis in passing and that sucks but the trade off for us is that our kids don't have to go to daycare. Right now it is worth it. I am a better mommy and wife when I get a little sleep!
Then April 23 we closed on our first home. A very exciting thing for us and my first opportunity to try out all of those great decorating ideas from the shows I watch all of the time ( my husband says that real life is not as easy as those decorating shows make it seem, but I am ambitious and out to prove him wrong ). I guess time will tell!
